Our Mission: BLUElab Thailand unites students from multiple disciplines at the University of Michigan in pursuit of creating sustainable solutions for flood mitigation in our partner district of Mae Chan, Thailand.

Our Values: We believe that design is about people (human-centered and socially-engaged) and that the best designs are sustainable: not just socially, but economically and environmentally.

We instill BLUElab’s core values in our members: sustainability, collaboration, servant leadership, community, and education.

We collaborate with Chiang Mai University students and faculty through our partner organization, PURPLElab, as well as with Michigan-based supporters such as BLUElab, the Center for Socially-Engaged Design and University of Michigan faculty.
